We are looking forward using SWING. Swing works fine with the most recent JDK1.1.7 release. As a matter of fact, Swing is supported better in JDK1.1 than in JDK1.2 because it's easier for the Swing developers to do 'upgrades' since it's not part of the base system. Some problems older version have are solved: - Consumption of much memory with 0.2.7 and 0.2.8. - JDK for FreeBSD sometimes crashes with SIGALRM. Now, Swing seems to run stably. I recommend to replace older version, especially 0.2.7 and 0.2.8. Any comment or suggestion or report is appreciated. Kazuyuki SHUDO Happy Hacking! Muraoka Lab., Grad.
