i'm an EE, trying to do less manufacturing and more embedded. despite heavy reading in the newsgroups, etc. i'm having a hard time getting the 'big picture' on OSs. can anyone recommend a good book, or three, (or FAQs, or anything) on the subject to help me get up to speed on both the theory and general practice? any assistance would be greatly appreciated. post to group, mail me directly, whatever. my sincerest thanks, Michael S.
