Let me repeat: this is not true in general. My laptop resumes from sleep and
hybernation with everything working OK (sound, net, usb, etc.), and has no
problem suspending from X. So if any problem occur, it must be related to
peculiarities of the laptop (BIOS, Video card, ???)
