From poking around the mail archives, it looks like work is going-on in this area, but I haven't found anything tieing this feature to a version or release date. Any info greatly appreciated! Support for LC_NUMERIC and LC_MONETARY already commited to FreeBSD-CURRENT. I also (mostly?) finished with strfmon(3) implementation. I propose to commit it as soon as get enough time to test with make buildworld and MFC all these related features after 4.4 RELEASE.
