Even fAsTy Konstantin Stepanenkov Tony McCrory 'Don' Mark Murray Troy Bell Thanks for all your help The problem ended up being with Syslog, for some reason Syslog to a = serial console can do some weird things sometimes. I commented out the line #*.err;kern.debug;auth.notice;mail.crit /dev/console HUP'd Syslog and off it went!
