You might want to install the portupgrade utility from /usr/ports/sysutils/portupgrade, and run: portupgrade -r -f glib To force an upgrade of glib and all the bits that depend on glib. You will also want to make sure your ORBit port is installed correctly, and up-to-date. > > Has anyone seen this message before and have any ideas how to get this po= rt > working. Mozilla and Galeon work fine for me. You'll find that when working with GNOME, you need to make sure all your dependencies are up-to-date. This usually means libIDL was incorrectly > installed This may indicate that either libIDL (part of the ORBit port on FreeBSD) is not installed correctly or that it is older than version 0.6.3. Unlikely, the latter one. Also, it is possible that the mozilla-headers port is not in sync with the main mozilla port? If so, you can see this by trying the mozilla port and if that build goes through than we have the culprit. Note that I have not met these problems recently although I build Mozilla from CVS every Saturday. Although the last build was slooooooow as hell:-) But it works. Hope this helps somewhat or at least some knowledgeable person can help you more. -- Regards: Szilveszter ADAM Szombathely Hungary To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mozilla" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-mozilla Thu Jan 31 15:51:26 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-mozilla@freebsd.org Received: from mailhost.alphaconcept.fr (host.97.81.23.62.rev.coltfrance.com [62.23.81.97]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3E2EA37B416; Thu, 31 Jan 2002 15:49:04 -0800 (PST) Received: from cfn.ist.utl.pt (NS [210.111.140.195]) by mailhost.alphaconcept.fr with SMTP (Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service Version 5.5.2655.55) id Z019N5T9; Fri, 1 Feb 2002 00:44:43 +0100 To: From: "Cheech" Subject: Don't Bogart That Joint... 23908 Date: Thu, 31 Jan 2002 03:46:10 -2000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <20020131234904.3E2EA37B416@hub.freebsd.org> Sender: owner-freebsd-mozilla@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Now Offering for your "Sensitive" Delight ...
