I haven't tested it by building OOo, but I hacked libsal.so.3.0.1 with a hex editor to test it, and it worked fine. en_US.UTF-8 isn't in the system locale but it is supplied by the utf8locale port, which installs this and a few other locales into /usr/local/share/locale and makes to them in /usr/share/locale. Maybe kan's gcc patch does solve this problem too, let's see. I'm on the way now to a working current again after I got a very very bad snapshot compiled. -> ufs crashes over and again. I'm currently compiling jdk131 and then openoffice is the next target. Ooh, a new problem! Nifty. Do you want to know about these in the future, or should I just assume that you have everything under control? > I'm currently compiling jdk131 and then openoffice is the next > target. If you should get a new package for -current, I'd like to try it; the existing -stable package just doesn't run on my system. :( ==ml -- Michael Lucas mwlucas@FreeBSD.org, mwlucas@BlackHelicopters.org http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/q/Big_Scary_Daemons Absolute BSD: http://www.AbsoluteBSD.com/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-openoffice" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-openoffice Wed Sep 4 15: 6:41 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.FreeBSD.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 836B937B400 for ; Wed, 4 Sep 2002 15:06:39 -0700 (PDT) Received: from mail.imp.ch (mail.imp.ch [157.161.1.2]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9657E43E42 for ; Wed, 4 Sep 2002 15:06:38 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from mb@imp.ch) Received: from nbs.imp.ch (nbs.imp.ch [157.161.4.7]) by mail.imp.ch (8.12.3/8.12.3) with ESMTP id g84M6ZO9016381; Thu, 5 Sep 2002 00:06:35 +0200 (CEST) (envelope-from Martin.Blapp@imp.ch) Received: from levais.imp.ch (levais.imp.ch [157.161.4.66]) by nbs.imp.ch (8.12.3/8.12.3) with ESMTP id g84M6Z75359716; Thu, 5 Sep 2002 00:06:35 +0200 (MES) Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2002 00:11:51 +0200 (CEST) From: Martin Blapp To: Michael Lucas Cc: Subject: Re: latest build failure In-Reply-To: <20020904180234.A11363@blackhelicopters.org> Message-ID: <20020905001033.Q31964-100000@levais.imp.ch> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi, > Ooh, a new problem! I did the system upgrade, and then did: pkg_delete -a rm -rf /usr/X11R6 and /usr/local installed XFree86-4, cvsup, emacs, WindowMaker, rxvt, and Mozilla, so I had a minimally-functional desktop. These all work. then started the openoffice port. It should be a pretty durn clean environment. :) ==ml -- Michael Lucas mwlucas@FreeBSD.org, mwlucas@BlackHelicopters.org http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/q/Big_Scary_Daemons Absolute BSD: http://www.AbsoluteBSD.com/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-openoffice" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-openoffice Sat Sep 7 14: 8:40 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.FreeBSD.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E9A3637B400 for ; Sat, 7 Sep 2002 14:08:38 -0700 (PDT) Received: from gil.axelero.hu (mail01.axelero.hu [195.228.240.76]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 332B143E77 for ; Sat, 7 Sep 2002 14:08:38 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from Gabor@Zahemszky.HU) Received: from Picasso.Zahemszky.HU (adsl-212-68.adsl-pool.axelero.hu [62.201.68.212]) by mail01.axelero.hu (iPlanet Messaging Server 5.1 HotFix 0.9 (built May 30 2002)) with ESMTP id <0H23008TV6QCLT@mail01.axelero.hu> for freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org; Sat, 07 Sep 2002 23:08:36 +0200 (MEST) Received: from Picasso.Zahemszky.HU (localhost.Zahemszky.HU [127.0.0.1]) by Picasso.Zahemszky.HU (8.12.3/8.12.3) with ESMTP id g87LCjkW002274 for ; Sat, 07 Sep 2002 23:12:45 +0200 Received: (from zgabor@localhost) by Picasso.Zahemszky.HU (8.12.3/8.12.3/Submit) id g87LCjo2002273 for freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org; Sat, 07 Sep 2002 23:12:45 +0200 (CEST) Date: Sat, 07 Sep 2002 23:12:45 +0200 From: Zahemszky =?iso-8859-2?Q?G=E1bor?= Subject: OpenOffice.org generate wrong WM_LOCALE_NAME under any locale, but C To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org Reply-To: Gabor@Zahemszky.HU Message-id: <20020907211245.GA2235@Picasso.Zahemszky.HU> MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Content-disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.1i X-Operating-System: FreeBSD 4.6-RELEASE Sender: owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi!
