Hmmm, I could reproduce the problem. When gs with A4=yes and ${PIC2PS} with "-p a4" are used, the truncation does not occur. I think we can replace ps2epsi with a make target using gs directly. Does anyone have other ideas? Alex and Martin, thanks for the report of de_DE.ISO8859-1 and it_IT.ISO8859-15. However, I am still afraid about if the order in Russian docs are properly or not. If anyone tried, please let me know. In a new patchset, container is added to transtable.xml to support number-to-monthname translation. We can now use the following template in www/*.xsl files. This template was used internal only, but moved into doc/share/sgml/transtable-common.xsl and can be used thorough www/share/sgml/includes.xsl to translate a word on the fly. For example, a word group "number-month" is used for converting "1" to "January" (of course this is not limited to English). Adding more groups, we can do word-by-word translation more easily. The tarball contains core and language dependent diffs. Try and if you noticed a problem such as build breakage, please let me know. Since structure of transtable.xml is changed, we have to switch it at once. So I put sample patches to the tarball to let the translation teams know what kind of changes are needed, while I (hrs@FreeBSD.org) am not planning to commit directly the patches except for Japanese. Any comments are welcome. If there is no obvious objection, I think I will tidy up and commit it. As you pointed out, currently if the pathname does not include "doc" or "www", LANGCODE and WWW_LANGCODE are not defined properly. What do you think about using DOC_PREFIX and WEB_PREFIX to determine the magic pathname fragment "doc" and "www"? First, LANGCODE and WWW_LANGCODE can be overridden via make's command line option in the attached patch. And if they or a pair of them were not defined, doc.common.mk tries to guess using DOC_PREFIX and WEB_PREFIX. In other words, your patch changes too much and introduces yet another set of variables that developers have to think about. With the patch, to defining LANGCODE and/or DOC_PREFIX, a developer can work in a non-standard doc directory, without thinking about WWW_LANGCODE and www/ tree. Am I still missing something? Unless the interfaces are configured in rc.conf, that is before the firewall and everything is enacted, then the user will not be able to contact anything via the natd interface. I believe that it would be worth noting this, saying something on the order of "The user must remember to include ifconfig_mynet0="..."" in /etc/rc.conf in order for the following (19.12.2) to work. I'm trying to create the interface gif0 at boot time and am adding the following to my /etc/rc.conf according to your document: gifconfig_gif0="A.B.C.D W.X.Y.Z" ifconfig_gif0="inet 192.168.1.1 192.168.2.1 netmask 0xffffffff" static_routes="vpn" route_vpn="192.168.2.0 192.168.2.1 netmask 0xffffff00" I've obviously changed the IP address schemes to fit my network. Using this same documentation on "VPN over IPsec" I can setup the gif0 interface manually with no problems and everything works. I just don't want to have to set it up manually every time I reboot. Any suggestions on why the setup to /etc/rc.conf from your documentation doesn't work? ****************************************************************** One other thing i'd like to point out on that document is that when you tell the user to run "gifconfig gif0 A.B.C.D W.X.Y.Z" it doesn't work.
