We settled on Tyan 2518GR boards last summer and they run smooth. Dual-CPU PIII, two on Board Intel 100Mbit NICs (fxp), on-board IDE RAID0, fit in 1U chassis. We also have other machines based on SuperMicro boards which I have never had a problem with over several years.
