Friends/associates of people subscribed here are welcome as well. I need two web sites developed. They will both be relatively simple. On the order of 4-10 pages. Applicants should have: Good grasp of English grammar and have an understanding of principles used to market products and services through a web site. Good grasp of making a site that works under most browsers (IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera and Safari). Good grasp of modern HTML standards, with the ability to code HTML that will render on "ancient" browsers such as Netscape 4.x and possibly Lynx. I need them to be done using a tool available for OS X or FreeBSD so that I can tweak the design later. That tool should be under 1000$ for a license. No plug-in requirements, specifically No flash, but ability to use flash is a plus because it may be used at a later date. I also need the code done in a modular manner, meaning I should be able to do a minimum amount of editing to change a common portion of each page. Using php or server side includes is acceptable. What I'm looking to have done is: Home page for Research Engineering Development Inc. Description: Simple home page, something like: http://zbcam.mu.org/www.productionbsd.com/index.php It's a consulting company. Home page for product ioBoost. Description: ioBoost is a product engineered to accelerate delivery of content through web servers, specifically apache 1.3. Please respond privately with: o) compensation required o) details on tools required o) links to examples of works done o) resume o) references I'm well known amongst the FreeBSD and web hosting communities, provided a good job is done I will be happy to refer said applicant to my own customers. Thank you, -- - Alfred Perlstein - Research Engineering Development Inc. - email: bright@mu.org cell: 408-480-4684
