FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE-p3 #8: Sat Aug 16 11:45:43 EDT 2003 I've been trying to build this since 4 hours after the lights were restored in New York City -- where the box that's attempting to build 'openoffice' resides. We're fairly confident that the colck on that machine is correct via using three servers within 'ntpd' and a startup 'ntpdate' in /etc/rc.conf. Attempting to manually download the and place it in /usr/ports/distfiles also fails when building. The spew below should be famliar after typing make install. ------------------------------------------------------ NOTICE: To build Openoffice, you should have a lot of free diskspace (~ 4GB). >> OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2 doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/openoffice. >> Attempting to fetch from http://ny1.mirror.openoffice.org/stable/1.0.3/. fetch: http://ny1.mirror.openoffice.org/stable/1.0.3/OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: size of remote file is not known fetch: OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: local file (8809 bytes) is longer than remote file (-1 bytes) >> Attempting to fetch from http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/misc/openoffice/stable/1.0.3/. fetch: OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: local modification time does not match remote >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://www.dnsbalance.ring.gr.jp/pub/misc/openoffice/stable/1.0.3/. fetch: OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: local modification time does not match remote >> Attempting to fetch from http://www.t.ring.gr.jp/archives/misc/openoffice/stable/1.0.3/. fetch: OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: local modification time does not match remote >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/OpenOffice/stable/1.0.3/. fetch: ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/OpenOffice/stable/1.0.3/OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: Operation timed out >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/openoffice/. fetch: OOo_1.0.3_source.tar.bz2: local modification time does not match remote >> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this >> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/openoffice and try again. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/editors/openoffice. *** Error code 1
