I'm building these (currently for 4.7 and 4.8, but I will add 4.9 soon after it is released), and they can be fetched and installed via the security/freebsd-update port. Because of the way that FreeBSD Update works, I need to have copies of the original binaries before a system can be updated. Consequently: 1. If you don't need to distribute customized binaries (ie, if you don't have local patches), then it is a Good Idea to distribute copies of the binaries from the official release ISO or FTP distributions. 2. If you absolutely must build the binaries yourself, *contact me*. I can probably get FreeBSD Update to support your distribution -- but only if you supply me with the information I need.
