Is it expected to be a big job? I've been using the vmware (version 1) port with success for some time but since that won't run on FreeBSD 5.x my hand is forced. (I even got multiple guests to run pretty well with some add-on patch). It looks like I can scrounge up some version 3 licenses from Amazon (anywhere else?) if I have to, but I can get better pricing (academic) if I can buy v4 direct from Vmware, Inc.
