I've pulled the FreeBSD dir from ftp12.us using spegla. But I only seem to get about 70G, so I'm trying to mirror from the new mirror I saw on the List called ftp-mirror.internap.com. The internap site seems to be organized differently than the ftp12 site And spegla removes things like the releases dir and moves it. So, where should I be pulling from. Shouldn't all mirror sites be exactly Layed out the same? If someone wants to "Inspect" my mirror so far you can goto the Physical box of mirror2.mirrors.tds.net. There is a limit of 10 FTP connections and due to around 8 seeming to have been "stuck" it wasn't allowing any more connections. I killed off the 8 that seemed to be stuck so it's accepting the anonymous connections again. Not all of the sites can/do support cvsup/rsync so FTP access is still enabled. Control is handled by an access file so only official mirror sites can connect. Since access is controlled that way there isn't really a need for anything more than the "anonymous" login for the transfers. -- Ken Smith - From there to here, from here to | kensmith@cse.buffalo.edu there, funny things are everywhere. | - Theodore Geisel | From owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Apr 20 10:13:36 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id AE69016A4CE for ; Tue, 20 Apr 2004 10:13:36 -0700 (PDT) Received: from nfs-ts.acs.internap.com (nfs-ts.acs.internap.com [63.251.68.21]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E0B6943D1D for ; Tue, 20 Apr 2004 10:13:35 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from rharris@internap.com) Received: from rharris by nfs-ts.acs.internap.com with local (v3.35.1) id 1BFyoR-0006ov-00 for ; Tue, 20 Apr 2004 13:13:35 -0400 Date: Tue, 20 Apr 2004 13:13:35 -0400 From: "Robert L. Let me know, I'd like to get some traffic onto this server. To see how it's handling things. I'm working on cvsup and web mirrors now as well. Shane Brath.
