This upgrade brings with it new versions of Atk and Pango. These new versions include shared library version bumps that will affect the following ports which you maintain. We would like to bump these ports' PORTREVISIONs to make upgrades easier for our users. If there is a port listed here that you would not like touched, please let us know as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that bumping PORTREVISIONs will be a benefit to our users as it will not require them to do forced portupgrades. Thank you. It appears that this was only needed to run the setup program and isn't needed for running openoffice. So, I thought I post a note here so others might find the solution more easily and offer the suggestion that this be handled in the openoffice-wrapper script. Something like the following: [ -n ${GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID} ] && unset SESSION_MANAGER Not knowing much about what either of the vars are used for, or how to easily know if the setup has been done, this at least would have saved me some time. I have tried to install it via ports in the /usr/ports/openoffice-1.1 directory. During installation I was asked to download some files from Sun's website and place them in the distfiles directory which I have done. After typing 'make' it compiles for about 45 minutes and then stops with this error message: com_sun_star_lib_connections_pipe_PipeConnection.c:558: syntax error before "void" dmake: Error code 1, while making '../../unxfbsd.pro/slo/com_sun_star_lib_connections_pipe_PipeConnection.obj' ---* TG_SLO.MK *--- ERROR: Error 65280 occurred while making /usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1/work/OOo_1.1.3_src/jurt/source/pipe dmake: Error code 1, while making 'build_all' ---* TG_SLO.MK *--- *** Error code 255 Stop in /usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1. Previous to this there are many more 'syntax error' messages but I have not posted them because it will make this post too long. Any help is greatly appreciated.
