Built OK for me and seems to work fine (after very brief testing). One proviso, though: In earlier ports (certainly 2.63; not sure if I ever installed 2.64) the local config lived in /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassasin; with this version (ie the current ports tree with your patch applied) the local config lives in /etc/mail/spamassassin Is this a deliberate change? If so, it could do with a big warning to the user (and perhaps copying over at least local.cf from the old location). -roy From owner-freebsd-perl@FreeBSD.ORG Sun Sep 26 18:45:41 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-perl@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 68A1316A4CE for ; Sun, 26 Sep 2004 18:45:41 +0000 (GMT) Received: from plouf.absolight.net (plouf.absolight.net [212.43.217.12]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 25A5643D3F for ; Sun, 26 Sep 2004 18:45:41 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from mat@FreeBSD.org) Received: from pouet.in.mat.cc (pouet.in.mat.cc [193.30.224.122]) (using TLSv1 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by plouf.absolight.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 592683F8D; Sun, 26 Sep 2004 20:45:39 +0200 (CEST) Date: Sun, 26 Sep 2004 20:45:35 +0200 From: Mathieu Arnold To: Charlie Roffe , Roy Badami Message-ID: <647DA3A10448C0BDC7149ED9@[192.168.1.5]> In-Reply-To: <31e1287040926083531b7be77@mail.gmail.com> <16727.3298.295133.242551@giles.gnomon.org.uk> References: <31e1287040923055747fa3669@mail.gmail.com> <2DC72565B3FEB15473363492@192.168.8.51> <31e128704092307511bf8f6e0@mail.gmail.com> <31e1287040926083531b7be77@mail.gmail.com> X-Mailer: Mulberry/3.1.6 (Win32) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-sha1; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="==========2C44FB26D070D588B6B6==========" cc: perl@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: SpamAssassin 3.0 release X-BeenThere: freebsd-perl@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: maintainer of a number of perl-related ports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 26 Sep 2004 18:45:41 -0000 --==========2C44FB26D070D588B6B6========== Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline You both have this problem, and it's not normal, I'll have a look at it tomorrow, because it should not go in /etc though, I have not experienced this myself. +-Le 26/09/2004 11:35 -0400, Charlie Roffe a dit : | Hi Mathieu, | | I found out that the reason a bunch of my settings were being | ignored is because the local.cf (well the spamassassin configuration | directory) previously was /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin and is now | /etc/mail/spamassassin ..
