If I turn on USB dongle while boot (after usb bus detected) it boots ok. But If I boot with turned off USB dongle - it panics, same If I boot with turned on USB dongle. (also it is same with usb mice or keyboard). I have allways turned on umass on-board card reader. It was on uchi and would register as usm0. It now will register and unregister as usm0 correctly but will not do anything. It could be that I have some setting wrong as I have never upgraded from a RELEASE to CURRENT and have usually run CURRENT in the past. I have not tried any other USB devices. For backup purposes, you may want to use function "Send whole addressbook over bluetooth" and save incoming file in your computer (it will be a huge .vcf formatted text file). I don't think high-level synchronization is standardized, it will be something Nokia proprietary. You could try comms/gnokii port which should support Bluetooth on FreeBSD too. --=20 Pav Lucistnik MIPS: Meaningless Information Provided by Salesmen --=-RdqigSG5jRf/MD99UUvB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCyw7hntdYP8FOsoIRAoqlAKDG/89ZoufxnhxMqef4PoQGYB9gsACfaxqm is9bxtyMc3TobVPgcvKUD5Q= =ct9n -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-RdqigSG5jRf/MD99UUvB-- From owner-freebsd-bluetooth@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Jul 5 23:22:36 2005 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-bluetooth@freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-bluetooth@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id EAB4F16A41C for ; Tue, 5 Jul 2005 23:22:36 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from Maksim.Yevmenkin@savvis.net) Received: from mailgate1b.savvis.net (mailgate1b.savvis.net [216.91.182.6]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A15F843D46 for ; Tue, 5 Jul 2005 23:22:36 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from Maksim.Yevmenkin@savvis.net) Received: from localhost (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by mailgate1b.savvis.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id ED07F3BE66; Tue, 5 Jul 2005 18:22:35 -0500 (CDT) Received: from mailgate1b.savvis.net ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (mailgate1b.savvis.net [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with LMTP id 26054-01-10; Tue, 5 Jul 2005 18:22:35 -0500 (CDT) Received: from out001.email.savvis.net (out001.apptix.savvis.net [216.91.32.44]) by mailgate1b.savvis.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id C39DF3BE2D; Tue, 5 Jul 2005 18:22:35 -0500 (CDT) Received: from s228130hz1ew171.apptix-01.savvis.net ([10.146.4.29]) by out001.email.savvis.net with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.211); Tue, 5 Jul 2005 18:22:31 -0500 Received: from [10.254.186.111] ([64.14.1.106]) by s228130hz1ew171.apptix-01.savvis.net with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.211); Tue, 5 Jul 2005 18:22:29 -0500 Message-ID: <42CB1633.7050902@savvis.net> Date: Tue, 05 Jul 2005 16:22:27 -0700 From: Maksim Yevmenkin User-Agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.2 (X11/20050404) X-Accept-Language: en-us, en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: "Loren M. Though I am well, yes. basically you need to call your provider and tell them you want gprs data access. be careful: you really want "ip over gprs" not "wap over gprs". for example t-mobile usa calls their "wap over gprs" plan t-zones. that is not what you want. you can only use "wap over gprs" on your phone. you could still make a csd (circuit switched data) call, i.e. like regular modem does if you replace gprs number "#99" with real phone number of dial-up access point, but this will be slow (9600) and will come out of your minutes. > at a loss as to how to get bluetooth Sync to work with my nokia phone. > That's the biggest feature I am wanting with bluetooth so I can keep my > addressbook properly backed up to my pc.
