This is an nForce 250 socket 754 board. The only problem is that the SCSI driver seems to lose track of the the SATA system disk occasionally, then reconnects to it. This happens transparently to the user (me), and the machine is perfectly usable. I think I had to boot into safe mode for the original install, again due to a problem with the SATA drive. The onboards gigabit ethernet is fine, and the sound even works! dmesg follows: Copyright (c) 1992-2005 The FreeBSD Project. Well, AFAICS, the main problem is some missing dependencies to index meta-files generated by collateindex.pl (web builds do not issue ``make clean''). I played with .mk magic a bit but not got any positive results by now.
