FreeBSD is the main OS I use and would like to use this board as an embedded network application. This board has an integrated layered-2 managed switch 185-MIPS ARM 922T processor, with MMU and 8kB I and D cache. The initial problems I'm running into at the moment are, the board doesn't have a readily available serial port that I can connect to. please Cc me with any information you can provide as I'm not subscribed to the list. Core processor support is what I meant by compatibility, sorry for not being clear with that in my original message. This is already proving to be very difficult, but I am determined. The problems I'm facing now, is in finding any suitable documentation for the Delta LF8290F and Delta LF8561 10/100BASE-TX transformers. I thought I was going to need documentation on the isolation transformers as well. Performance wise, would it be ideal to remove support, by disconnecting the pins for EMAC MII? If so, it might be easier to port the KS8695X rather than the KS8695. I think I would have to remain backwards compatible due to the difference in voltages, and PHY enhancements though... Not sure on that one. Gardner
