My fight to get one of our machines stable after
a disk failure continues. First it seems the raid /
ide driver was causing issues due to too large a disk
now I'm getting kernel panics after replacing the
disk again with one of the same size.

Kernel panic is as follows:
kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
cpuid = 1; apic id = 01
fault virtual address = 0xc93d049c
fault code = superviser write, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x20:0xc065d644
stack pointer = 0x29:0xe4f56b74
frame pointer = 0x29:0xe4f56b84
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
             = DPL 0, pres1, def32 1, dran 1
processor eflags = resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 15 (swi1: net)
trap number = 12
panic: page fault
cpuid = 1

Anyone got any ideas on this? This machine has been
running 6.0 without issue for months. I'll post a
dmesg when the machine has been restarted ( remote
hands at the data center on that atm ).

    Steve
