Date: Sun, 01 Jan 2006 11:49:01 +0100 Hello, FreeBSD uses X.org instead of XFree86 since 5.3-RELEASE, therefore you can't use an old configuration file. Please consider the handbook (http://www.freebsd.org/handbook) to learn how to configure the X window server. As far as I can remember you can run "xorgcfg -textmode" to configure it. Please discuss this further on the mailing lists. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/eresources.html#ERESOURCES-MAIL Regards Björn ... and a happy new year. :-)
