This could also be submitted as a patch back to the community that could be supported by the release engineering team.=20 In particular, this is to support running FreeBSD 4.11 on a Dell 1950/2950. Hardware with remote access (serial console if necessary) can be provided. Below is dmesg output from FreeBSD6.1 amd64. I believe we would need ports for the NIC (bce) and the SATA/SAS controller (mfi). Please contact me directly at the email address below with qualifications and desired rate for further details. We are looking for someone to start ASAP. (Also, it does not need to be the same person for both drivers- if you have experience with one or the other, please get in touch).
