'k, tonight, after 14 days of uptime, I had my first HP server crash with the following coming up in the BIOS (I do love remcons) ... 1610-Temperature violation detected Waiting 5 minutes for system to cool Press Esc key to resume booting without waiting for the system to cool. WARNING: Pressing Esc is NOT recommended as the system may shutdown unexpectedly Is there a method of monitoring temperature and such more 'realtime', to figure out there is a problem? ---- Marc G.
