I've had great success running Other Operating Systems on HP Proliant servers and FreeBSD on non-HP servers, now I was thinking of combining the two and getting a Proliant ML150G2 as my next server. I wonder if anyone is currently running FreeBSD 6 on one of these and can answer some questions. Is the "HP 6 Port SATA RAID controller" really Adaptec 2610SA? Or is it some other controller supported by FreeBSD? Are the HP NC1020 and HP NC360T NICs supported by FreeBSD 6? Are you running i386 or amd64 version of FreeBSD? Thanks in advance, BTW, it looks strange to me that HP uses PC2700 DDR on these machines, I wonder what's the reason for not using PC3200? Just curious. -- Toomas Aas
