I've got a new motherboard with this NIC and a fresh 6-STABLE was unable to= handle this one, and as i've check the cvsweb there weren't any updates. I've tried to download the em-6.5.6.tar.gz from intel and use that driver d= irectly by both building it into the kernel and using it as a module (of course, no= t at the same time :), but the compilation failed every time. The header includes we= re borked up in the source, i've somehow fixed that, but there were some other compil= ation errors, couldn't find macros and such. So, the question would be, when will be the em(4) driver going to be updated to support the newer NICs? Sincerely, Gergely Czuczy mailto: gergely.czuczy@harmless.hu --=20 Weenies test.
