You should be able to access your arrays if they are on a SmartArray controller, you don't specify which one is in the system though. Have you tried updating the firmware of the machine ? the 8500 is a pretty ancient machine - maybe that would help. You can download a firmware update CD at : http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22722.html Might not include your latest smart array firmware, but since you don't specify which one is in the box - I cannot find that for you, but you can always search for the name at : http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html Regards Søren Klintrup
