I am aware that I did not provide enough information such as Xorg logs or a precise model number; this had two reasons. First, I was looking for a general "Does work" or "Doesn't work" before proceeding. Unfortunately the ML archives did not turn up many relevant posts when I searched them previously (which is kinda surprising given how frequent this chip is in laptops, at least here in HU) Now I see that it is supposed to work. Second, I was secretly hoping that someone would have the same laptop and tell me about their experience :-) Alas, this did not happen. The machine in question is running Ubuntu right now (for different reasons) but I will try to gather more info later on. Again, thanks for all your help! -- Best regards: Szilveszter ADAM Budapest Hungary From owner-freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jan 15 11:08:35 2007 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.org Delivered-To: freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6390716A60F for ; Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:35 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [69.147.83.40]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4F65213C4BA for ; Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:35 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (linimon@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4) with ESMTP id l0FB8Ygq031908 for ; Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:34 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from linimon@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4/Submit) id l0FB8WNZ031904 for freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:33 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:33 GMT Message-Id: <200701151108.l0FB8WNZ031904@freefall.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: freefall.freebsd.org: linimon set sender to owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org using -f From: FreeBSD bugmaster To: freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Current problem reports assigned to you X-BeenThere: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: X11 on FreeBSD -- maintaining and support List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2007 11:08:35 -0000 Current FreeBSD problem reports Critical problems S Tracker Resp.
