Somewhere in the BIOS settings should be an option to switch the SATA controller to AHCI, maybe this helps. On most computers this setting defaults to P-ATA mode, which is a slower compatibility mode and is needed for an other OS to work. bye Fabian From owner-freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jun 30 11:06:53 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C9CD2106567E for ; Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B6DC38FC0C for ; Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.2/8.14.2) with ESMTP id m5UB6rYV095679 for ; Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.2/8.14.1/Submit) id m5UB6rhj095675 for freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 GMT Message-Id: <200806301106.m5UB6rhj095675@freefall.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: freefall.freebsd.org: gnats set sender to owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org using -f From: FreeBSD bugmaster To: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org X-Mailman-Approved-At: Mon, 30 Jun 2008 13:06:05 +0000 Cc: Subject: Current problem reports assigned to freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to the AMD64 platform List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:06:53 -0000 Current FreeBSD problem reports Critical problems S Tracker Resp. I usually download the new port of clamav from ftp://ftp.tw.freebsd.org/pub/ports/packages/security/. However, I find that the above site does not provide the lastest version anymore. (only show 0.92.1) Anyone know where can I get the lastest port for clamAV for freebsd 6.2 AMD? The lastest version should be 0.93.1. I am not sure whether I should post on this mailing list. Any advices are appreciated. Thanks.
