I had good experiences using an GEODE driven 'WRAP 1.E-2' board from http://www.pcengines.ch/wrap.htm but they EOL'ed and and where replaced by some more decent ALIX boards: https://shop.tronico.net/Embedded-Computer/ALIX-by-PC-Engines/Mainboards/ They are quite a bit cheaper than SOEKRIS - but no idea about their shipment costs.
