I am trying to build OOo 3.1.0 (updated via portsnap a couple of days ago) on FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT-200905 (complete binary installation). All seems to go fine until I get to the packimages piece, which does part of its work, then fails as shown below my sig. Is this a known problem, or have I done something stupid? If you upgrade to a later version of FreeBSD-CURRENT, I think you will find that the problem is fixed. If you don't want to go through this effort, I found that hacking the Makefile in the openoffice source, so as to fool the make tool, worked just fine. The current binary package won't do, because it doesn't contain pyuno. The Makefile install paths don't take the WITH_DEBUG parameters into account, and point to several paths that don't exist when you build it with that parameter. After creating a symlink from unxfbsdx to unxfbsd, from nl_witherror to nl and from en-US_witherror to en-US it worked.
