No raid! If I try copy from one to another, or between slice on SAS or SATA. It does= n't matter. All of them are too slow. Speed no more that 2-3Mb/s. I am not goin= g to give snapshot from iostat or gstat or bonnie here, because it it not useful information. I have another totally same box but with passive panel (because only SATA drivers are using). So, drivers was connected to mainboard there and Intel ESB ATA controller is in using, no mpt at all). And there I have very good = speed - up to 30Mb/s. I wanted to have SAS on my new server, so I installed active panel but now I am very disappointed. I have read some threads about problem in early versions, but did not found any solutions. Is it a problem with mpt driver?
