I would like to use suspend/resume functionality, but when I try to enter S3 or S4 then the harddisks spin down, display is switched off, but the computer doesn't switch off (fan and power LED stay on). I use a stock kernel (AMD64) and I don't load any special drivers. If I run *kldstat* then only *kernel*, * zfs.ko*, *opensolaris.ko* are loaded. I have this very legitimate proposal for your or your company. I represent the interest of two government officials in North Africa. I am entrusted with the responsibility of locating a capable overseas partner with whom we can work to discretely transfer a considerable large sum of money for overseas investment. The funds were earned through private commission from contracts, royalties and exploration rights. We are in need to transfer out of here as soon as possible, in view of new situations we are presently faced with. We are willing to invest with your assistance after transfer is completed. I would respectfully request you maintain confidentiality, and appreciate your urgent response to enable me provide more details. I can be reached anytime via E-mail at: finwnx@gmail.com Thank you, Wayne Finger From owner-freebsd-acpi@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Jan 20 04:07:51 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-acpi@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1BDFC106566B for ; Fri, 20 Jan 2012 04:07:51 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from tim.matthews7@gmail.com) Received: from mail-iy0-f182.google.com (mail-iy0-f182.google.com [209.85.210.182]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DFC6F8FC08 for ; Fri, 20 Jan 2012 04:07:50 +0000 (UTC) Received: by iagz16 with SMTP id z16so429703iag.13 for ; Thu, 19 Jan 2012 20:07:50 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=mime-version:date:message-id:subject:from:to:content-type; bh=zFyjM35IdhBbq0/+LeJm+ieA4W3zW5PDoy4eMdH9zBI=; b=jHMYoe/aan/2frAuW2hsn4CyY6PY1zEBlL6FWej6QZt2SQyZ7bzUwj1W8m8Fsytn/O nPpoIvWOctH+eQWJfWv1JTxCOS6Bb+Se+++bYGb4xy0kegkNSGjHxa56uv6vD4igAU5u F70rHpLFeJ4NgFAX34Dge30OKDrvq8Th/xfq0= MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.50.170.35 with SMTP id aj3mr30876456igc.2.1327030586637; Thu, 19 Jan 2012 19:36:26 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.231.204.6 with HTTP; Thu, 19 Jan 2012 19:36:26 -0800 (PST) Date: Fri, 20 Jan 2012 16:36:26 +1300 Message-ID: From: Tim Matthews To: freebsd-acpi@freebsd.org Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Subject: Upgraded to 9, shutdown now does reboot.
