Then I add users u1 and u2 to the server with the same UID. Mapping works correctly. Server log: Nov 16 10:11:50 storage nfsuserd:[1432]: Added uid=3072 name=u2 Nov 16 10:12:07 storage nfsuserd:[1433]: Added uid=3071 name=u1 The same problem with the client. If user does not exists on the client but exists on the server, it maps to UID 32767 on the client (I do chown on the server). >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: From owner-freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Nov 16 15:55:35 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 62CC2E81 for ; Fri, 16 Nov 2012 15:55:35 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from edwinlculp@gmail.com) Received: from mail-oa0-f54.google.com (mail-oa0-f54.google.com [209.85.219.54]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 226CC8FC0C for ; Fri, 16 Nov 2012 15:55:34 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-oa0-f54.google.com with SMTP id n9so3680412oag.13 for ; Fri, 16 Nov 2012 07:55:34 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=mime-version:date:message-id:subject:from:to:content-type; bh=eoPqeMPeBt7qfTD18CB60MwmpiNPOrx2gWJlSdW0p6o=; b=ByBeY5Y62W0Dwm7sacHmBOG0xwKKfX2tTfRUMMyiePk/UrdXUEDyJHgIy0QhrF/70O df4e1pSd+32ukRK2NGWYDa7TpXk0t1Qvim9r/HXJu1VHSb6HUgoj+YKHdw4tdSvA1sZ8 yOC9OJPvRfwfRRnfg8Nm+YeGj+pB+CFJnrgm3B/EpU2doQGph86sRu2h2IGj+nlbCZPN 7/btoo6jLnr3nYwpH0iGvVosLJmv3fpJPxNYoGrmEWPfw/86IqmIJY931WaMiOlAtBqs GjdHu2XaxM9AMnIJEUa0K861AUo8OdDuXZvTQP0Dx6ghaIt84lQ3wdQBvVWWBgnNZLcc wdsQ== MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.182.117.74 with SMTP id kc10mr4158758obb.63.1353081334273; Fri, 16 Nov 2012 07:55:34 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.182.69.5 with HTTP; Fri, 16 Nov 2012 07:55:34 -0800 (PST) Date: Fri, 16 Nov 2012 09:55:34 -0600 Message-ID: Subject: csup should be able to update and updating 9.1 as usual. with amd64 (source, ports and release) ?
