I=E2=80=99m Casey. I=E2=80=99m 19, 5=E2=80=992=E2=80=9D, and I=E2=80= =99ve lived most of my life hating myself for the way I look. Here is the= very short version of my story. At 13 I weighed only 53 pounds, and was going through a 2-year misdiagnose= s. Everything I ate made my stomach hurt. I would eat, and then I=E2=80=99= d be on the floor screaming in pain but the doctors said I was lying to co= ver up my =E2=80=9Ceating disorder". I went through over 15 doctors, and two psychologists. I was dropped by many of them beca= use they didn=E2=80=99t know what to do. I lost all of my friends. I was i= n too much pain, and too weak to go to school. I was in the hospital with= feeding tubes down my throat to force feed me. I tried my best to eat, bu= t no matter how much I ate, I kept losing weight. I ate through the pain t= o make everyone happy, except myself. I was killing myself with food. The doctors decided to cut a hole in me so my parents could put a feeding= tube through it. A week before they were going to do it a doctor saw a bl= ood test that I had taken two years earlier and saw that I had Celiac Dise= ase, an intolerance to Wheat, Oats, Rye, and Barley. By eating those foods= , my intestines were completely damaged. My growth hormone had stopped, an= d my digestive system had completely broken down. I stopped eating those f= oods, and the pain went away. Even though I was finally diagnosed, I was told if I didn=E2=80=99t gain a= certain amount of weight in a week, I=E2=80=99d be put back in the hospit= al. So, every night, I=E2=80=99d make myself a picnic in my room, and eat= until I was about to throw up. In only two months, I gained the 20 pounds= I needed to. But I couldn=E2=80=99t stop eating. I kept eating, and eatin= g, and eating. It became an addiction. I used food to cope with everything= =2E It consumed my life. I would binge every night, and sometimes, be too si= ck to go to school. I went to therapist after therapist trying to get help= , but I just couldn=E2=80=99t stop. I was diagnosed with Binge-Eating Diso= rder. I hated myself. I felt disgusting. I thought I was a failure and had= no willpower. Food had completely consumed my life. The past two years I= had been forced to eat, and then I literally could not stop eating. I spi= raled into depression, began cutting myself, and was diagnosed with Border= line Personality Disorder and Body Dysmoprhic Disorder. I have been coping with all of that now for 4 years. My highest weight was 140 pounds. I still struggle with Binge-Eating, self harm and my weight constantly goe= s up and down. I have stretch marks, cellulite, and scars all over my body= =2E I can=E2=80=99t help but sometimes look in the mirror and see ugly. But= slowly, I=E2=80=99m getting better. Sometimes I can look in the mirror. S= ometimes, I can take pictures of myself and that=E2=80=99s a huge improvem= ent from where I was. I=E2=80=99m a survivor. People told me I was going t= o die, and I didn=E2=80=99t. People told me I was a liar, and I fought for= my life, no matter what anyone said. So what if I have scars? It shows wh= at I have gone and still am going through. It shows how I=E2=80=99m still= fighting for happiness everyday, and that will start by loving my body. I= am beautiful. We all need to realize that life is too short to base it all on the way we= look, or a number on a scale. Eat when you=E2=80=99re hungry. Eat chocola= te if it makes you happy. Wear whatever you want. If the media thinks that= killing yourself physically and mentally to look a certain way is what=E2= =80=99s beautiful, then they are the ones with the problems. If everyone l= ooked the same, the world would be so boring! YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR WEIGH= T. NO MATTER WHAT SIZE. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Email Marketing Powered by MailChimp http://www.mailchimp.com/monkey-rewards/?utm_source=3Dfreemium_newsletter&= utm_medium=3Demail&utm_campaign=3Dmonkey_rewards&aid=3Dd30667be6807b66bbe4= 289510&afl=3D1 ** forward to a friend (http://us4.forward-to-friend.com/forward?u=3Dd3066= 7be6807b66bbe4289510&id=3Db1abe319af&e=3D0d1ae7c797) ** unsubscribe from this list (http://Facebook.us4.list-manage.com/unsubsc= ribe?u=3Dd30667be6807b66bbe4289510&id=3D8ad37d992d&e=3D0d1ae7c797&c=3Db1abe3= 19af) ** update subscription preferences (http://Facebook.us4.list-manage2.com/p= rofile?u=3Dd30667be6807b66bbe4289510&id=3D8ad37d992d&e=3D0d1ae7c797) From owner-freebsd-chromium@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Nov 30 14:39:07 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-chromium@FreebSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 96A80110 for ; Fri, 30 Nov 2012 14:39:07 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gofc-freebsd-chromium@m.gmane.org) Received: from plane.gmane.org (plane.gmane.org [80.91.229.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48F228FC14 for ; Fri, 30 Nov 2012 14:39:03 +0000 (UTC) Received: from list by plane.gmane.org with local (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1TeRkA-00062G-OT for freebsd-chromium@FreebSD.org; Fri, 30 Nov 2012 15:39:06 +0100 Received: from 208.85.208.53 ([208.85.208.53]) by main.gmane.org with esmtp (Gmexim 0.1 (Debian)) id 1AlnuQ-0007hv-00 for ; Fri, 30 Nov 2012 15:39:06 +0100 Received: from atkin901 by 208.85.208.53 with local (Gmexim 0.1 (Debian)) id 1AlnuQ-0007hv-00 for ; Fri, 30 Nov 2012 15:39:06 +0100 X-Injected-Via-Gmane: http://gmane.org/ To: freebsd-chromium@FreebSD.org From: Mark Atkinson Subject: Re: Why chrome doesn't see plugins installed into /usr/local/lib/browser_plugins?
