Here at iXsystems we are an all or nothing FreeBSD shop. Our servers
run FreeBSD, our desktops run PC-BSD. We sell servers to people
running FreeBSD. We sponsor the development of FreeNAS, which is
based on FreeBSD and NanoBSD, and we sell a line of enterprise storage
based on FreeNAS called TrueNAS.

We're currently looking for someone to do support for TrueNAS.
Experience with FreeBSD, NanoBSD, and ZFS are important technical
skills. We take our support seriously, and a real passion to do
support with the skills to handle that are very important to us as well.

We offer an all FreeBSD environment, a lab with lots of fun toys,
including FC, IB, Fusion-I/O cards, 10Gbe, big servers with 24+ cores,
systems with more RAM than you can shake a stick at, and the
opportunity to work with very knowledgeable and clued in FreeBSD
types. (you will learn things from Doug White and Xin Li just from
osmosis alone!)

It's very laid back here, club ix has the couches, the big screen LCD,
the PS3, the guys have a studio set up in the loft and jam out on
guitars and drums from time to time, it's also fast paced and hectic,
an environment where the requirements and priorities change frequently.

This is primarily an onsite position in our San Jose office, although
we offer the facilities for some flexibility in being able to work remote.

We don't offer 24x7 software support for TrueNAS at this time, but we
do our best to maintain adhoc support when possible, and are
investigating expanding our support.

We're fanatics about FreeBSD, we get paid to work on our passion, and
if this fits you, you might be an ideal candidate.
