Hi, We're looking for a contract developer to fix kern/147082 PR. In short, the serial drivers in 8.x (tested problems up to 8.2) won't work = on the chipset on our boards. They work just fine in 6.x, in some 7.x versi= ons, as well as other OSs (tested with OpenBSD, NetBSD, Debian, QNX, Window= s). In 8.x, the serial drivers work during boot (I can boot the OS on over = serial just fine), but stop working shortly after system starts init (last = messages that will show up on console is around when network cards get init= ialized/setup). We're based in Vancouver, BC, but can arrange to ship sample hardware or se= tup remote access to allow for remote work. Please contact me directly at m= jordanov@enbala.com if you're interested.
