It works directly with all FTA channels (HD also). To open all base encrypted private channels, i have a AlphaCrypt CI Module with my UnityMedia CustomerCard inside the CI slot of the CT-3650. Works with yavdr0.4 (ubuntu based vdr distribution), but not with my FreeBSD setup. Unfortunately i have no clue where to check if the AplhaCrypt and the inserted UM Card is detected or not under FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE i386. Under Linux i see entries in /var/log/syslog that CI Module found and supported card is inserted. I run following ports of vdr and webamd(compiled without debug enabled): [root@barney /usr/ports/multimedia/webcamd]# less distinfo SHA256 (webcamd-3.5.0.2.tar.bz2) = 0111aa9066e1e79e28a051856981ae89d3c583148fb15c9fedc7c82ba30de077 SIZE (webcamd-3.5.0.2.tar.bz2) = 9217074 [root@barney /usr/ports/multimedia/vdr]# less distinfo SHA256 (vdr/vdr-1.7.28.tar.bz2) = c932df0468e9a256d35c7339247ec212b48d911f88ec8ea3c367e22816d9484f SIZE (vdr/vdr-1.7.28.tar.bz2) = 782861 Any chance to get the CI slot with AlphaCrypt to work with this setup? Here is a quick HOWTO using 8-stable, 9-stable or 10-current. 1) su 2) usbconfig Locate your USB audio device, for example ugen4.2. ugen4.2: at usbus6, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON 3) Locate output format for USB audio device dmesg | grep -C 10 ugen4.2 uaudio0: Play: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, 16-bit S-LE PCM format. uaudio0: Record: 48000 Hz, 1 ch, 16-bit S-LE PCM format. uaudio0: No midi sequencer. 4) Install /usr/ports/audio/sox 5) Playback something on your USB device 6) Locate the USB audio endpoint used: usbdump -i usbus4 -f 2 -v usbus4.2 SUBM-ISOC-EP=00000001,SPD=FULL,NFR=8,SLEN=1536,IVAL=0 ^^ endpoint number in hex 7) Redirect audio output by use of usbdump from device 4.2 and endpoint 1 to another audio device in raw binary format: usbdump -s 65536 -i usbus4 -f 2.1 -b /dev/stdout | \ env AUDIODEV=/dev/dsp1 play -c 2 -r 48000 -b 16 -t raw -s /dev/stdin Good luck! --HPS From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Jun 26 15:37:44 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6F4911065670 for ; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 15:37:44 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from hselasky@c2i.net) Received: from swip.net (mailfe02.c2i.net [212.247.154.34]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id EA5BA8FC0C for ; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 15:37:43 +0000 (UTC) X-T2-Spam-Status: No, hits=-0.2 required=5.0 tests=ALL_TRUSTED, BAYES_50 Received: from [176.74.212.201] (account mc467741@c2i.net HELO laptop015.hselasky.homeunix.org) by mailfe02.swip.net (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 5.4.4) with ESMTPA id 291672648; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 17:37:41 +0200 From: Hans Petter Selasky To: Timo =?iso-8859-15?q?Sch=E4fer?= Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2012 17:37:26 +0200 User-Agent: KMail/1.13.7 (FreeBSD/9.0-STABLE; KDE/4.7.4; amd64; ; ) References: <4FE83768.6000909@itservice-schaefer.de> <201206251739.38172.hselasky@c2i.net> <4FE88835.5070306@itservice-schaefer.de> In-Reply-To: <4FE88835.5070306@itservice-schaefer.de> X-Face: 'mmZ:T{)),Oru^0c+/}w'`gU1$ubmG?lp!=R4Wy\ELYo2)@'UZ24N@ =?iso-8859-1?q?d2+AyewRX=7DmAm=3BYp=0A=09=7CU=5B?=@, _z/([?1bCfM{_"B<.J>mICJCHAzzGHI{y7{%JVz%R~yJHIji`y> =?iso-8859-1?q?Y=7Dk1C4TfysrsUI=0A=09-=25GU9V5=5DiUZF=26nRn9mJ=27=3F=26?=>O MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: Text/Plain; charset="iso-8859-15" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Message-Id: <201206261737.26152.hselasky@c2i.net> Cc: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Subject: Re: DVB-C (CT-3650) with UnityMedia CI Module not working X-BeenThere: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Multimedia discussions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2012 15:37:44 -0000 On Monday 25 June 2012 17:48:05 Timo Sch=E4fer wrote: > ./adapter0/ca0 Can you use the device shown above? Maybe it is a known IOCTL issue. Some IOCTL needs to be fixed before they c= an=20 be used, because the RW flags are not correct. Try figuring out what IOCTL this is with ktrace or something like that. Or= =20 simply grep in the code for that error message. Then see if the RW flags ar= e=20 correct. =2D-HPS From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Jun 26 16:17:46 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6ADBC106571C for ; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 16:17:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from mlist@itservice-schaefer.de) Received: from v220101070074062.yourvserver.net (static.68.133.47.78.clients.your-server.de [78.47.133.68]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 24EC68FC18 for ; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 16:17:46 +0000 (UTC) Received: from [192.168.1.131] (ip-88-153-232-225.unitymediagroup.de [88.153.232.225]) by v220101070074062.yourvserver.net (Postfix) with ESMTPA id 5ED241F414AA; Tue, 26 Jun 2012 18:17:45 +0200 (CEST) Message-ID: <4FE9E0A8.8050409@itservice-schaefer.de> Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2012 18:17:44 +0200 From: =?ISO-8859-15?Q?Timo_Sch=E4fer?= User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120615 Thunderbird/13.0.1 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: Hans Petter Selasky References: <4FE83768.6000909@itservice-schaefer.de> <4FE9D99F.5000005@itservice-schaefer.de> <4FE9DB34.7010806@itservice-schaefer.de> <201206261804.05819.hselasky@c2i.net> In-Reply-To: <201206261804.05819.hselasky@c2i.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Cc: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Subject: Re: DVB-C (CT-3650) with UnityMedia CI Module not working X-BeenThere: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Multimedia discussions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2012 16:17:46 -0000 Am 26.06.2012 18:04, schrieb Hans Petter Selasky: > On Tuesday 26 June 2012 17:54:28 Timo Schäfer wrote: >> Am 26.06.2012 17:47, schrieb Timo Schäfer: >>> Am 26.06.2012 17:37, schrieb Hans Petter Selasky: >>>> On Monday 25 June 2012 17:48:05 Timo Schäfer wrote: >>>>> ./adapter0/ca0 >>>> Can you use the device shown above? >>>> >>>> --HPS >>> how? vdr is not talking to it / does not detect it. >>> >>> under linux vdr looks at the attached ci module and inserted smartcard >>> to unscramble >>> the channel if needed. >>> >>> with my freebsd setup vdr does not detect the ci module and cannot use >>> the smartcard >>> to open the scrambled channels. >>> >>> crw-rw---- 1 webcamd webcamd 0, 97 Jun 26 17:40 ca0 >>> >>> has the needed rights, but i guess its not used/detected. >> Ah there is something in /var/log/messages: >> >> Jun 26 14:00:20 barney vdr: [680406016] ERROR: can't get info of CAM >> slot 0 on device 0: Invalid argument >> Jun 26 14:00:28 barney last message repeated 15 times > Hi, > >> does not look good but that seems to be the problem. > Maybe it is a known IOCTL issue. We discussed this yesterday a bit and I think we need the libv4l port to depend on the webcamd port's patch target to get its Linux headers, that way the _IOWR etc fixes are included (of which we discovered two new ones for ca.h today btw), and the generated headers match what webcamd supports. Oh and the sed -i target needs to be changed into sed -i.bak to work with BSD sed. The only thing I can think off whats happened is that pango plugin was updated later then the other gstreamer ports. -Koop From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Jun 29 12:56:43 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: multimedia@FreeBSD.org Received: from pointyhat.freebsd.org (pointyhat.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::2b]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7DBE5106564A; Fri, 29 Jun 2012 12:56:43 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from "") Received: from pointyhat.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by pointyhat.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3) with ESMTP id q5TCuhJ2095854; Fri, 29 Jun 2012 12:56:43 GMT Received: (from erwin@localhost) by pointyhat.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3/Submit) id q5TCuh79095848; Fri, 29 Jun 2012 12:56:43 GMT Date: Fri, 29 Jun 2012 12:56:43 GMT Message-Id: <201206291256.q5TCuh79095848@pointyhat.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: pointyhat.freebsd.org: erwin set sender to <> using -f From: erwin@FreeBSD.org To: erwin@FreeBSD.org X-FreeBSD-Chkversion: backwards Cc: kwm@FreeBSD.org, multimedia@FreeBSD.org Subject: Ports with version numbers going backwards: x11-toolkits/gstreamer-plugins-p...
