This application is tailored to the Intel i7 3930K CPU. It displays things like temperatures, voltages, CPU speed, etc. When I iconize it, the icon displays the application name. I want to display the CPU clock speed when it is iconized. The application calculates the CPU speed and reads temperatures, voltages, etc. every second. I have looked on the web, but, the number of hits is too large and I cannot think of a way to narrow the search. Is there any way to do this? If anyone is interested, it is GPL. At the bottom level, you're probably wanting the ICCCM WM_ICON_NAME property. At the xlib level, http://tronche.com/gui/x/xlib/ICC/client-to-window-manager/wm-icon-name.html are some hints. A glance at the GTK docs doesn't turn up anything (gtk_window_set_icon_name() is specifically _not_ that). So maybe you do need to sneak under the toolkit to do it. -- Matthew Fuller (MF4839) | fullermd@over-yonder.net Systems/Network Administrator | http://www.over-yonder.net/~fullermd/ On the Internet, nobody can hear you scream. But recompiling as cause seemed more possible to me in your case. Indeed it looks strange, but I also had some problems with xorg-server which (accidentally) ceased after recompiling of all ports (obviously including all x-related). I'm not using clang for ports here, because there is at least one port which isn't clang ready at all. Often, this is due to a better alternative having become available and/or the cessation of development on the existing port. In some cases, ports are marked for removal because they fail to build and install correctly from their sources, or otherwise fail in operation. The ports, and the reason and date that they have been scheduled for removal, are listed below. If no one has stepped forward before that time to propose a way to fix the problems (such as via a PR), the ports will be deleted. portname: x11/wrapper description: Wrapper for X.Org X11 server maintainer: x11@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: not needed anymore expiration date: 2012-03-28 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=x11&portname=wrapper If this problem is one that you are already aware of, please accept our apologies and ignore this message.
