I don't understand this answer. I saw the same thing, even after all of the above ports were rebuilt. What seems to have happened is that the above ports (and a bunch of others, my list is below) were rebuilt while the old libxfce4util was still around, and then it was updated later. Do we need to rejigger the dependencies so that libxfce4util is rebuilt during an upgrade before any of the ports that depend on it? I hope, it's not gdm3. If yes, you must patch x11-themes/gtk-xfce-engine, because it's support only GTK2 theme. Could you test with Xdm. Are you saying that if I put my OPTIONS in order "B C A" that they will be displayed as "A B C" ?? If so, that's bad, because I group my options in meaningful chunks, and would not want to see the infrastructure mess with them. Or do they appear for a while, and then go away? I had this happen on one of my xubuntu systems. If you're not seeing the decorations, do this: ps ax | grep xfwm4 If you don't see anything, that's the problem. In a terminal window you should be able to type 'xfwm4 &' and they will come back. If that works, go to the "Session and Startup" wizard and save your session (make sure that there isn't anything running there that you don't want of course). I have no idea why it got lost after the upgrade, but ever since I did the above the problem has gone away. hth, Doug -- This .signature sanitized for your protection
