Silly question, why? :) And if we're going to suggest this, we need to tell the user what they are looking for. Generally I find it's not necessary to inspect it first, see below. > + &prompt.user; svn merge -c r238987 svn+ssh://svn.freebsd.org/base/head/share/man/man4 stable/9/share/man/man4 First, I recommend cd'ing to the directory where the merge is to occur before doing anything else. Something like: cd stable/9/share/man/man4 svn up svn stat to make sure that you are up to date, and then run the merge. Also FYI, I'm pretty sure that 'merge -c' will choke on the r you have in the revision number there. My mfc function strips it, but I don't remember if that was for aesthetics, or because I got an error when I did it. > +--- Merging r238987 into 'stable/9/share/man/man4': > +U stable/9/share/man/man4/netmap.4 > +--- Recording mergeinfo for merge of r238987 into > +'stable/9/share/man/man4': > + U stable/9/share/man/man4 > + > + Check that the merge info is still ok; the revision > + number of the merged revision should be added. You will also see the mergeinfo diff here, even though it doesn't show up in the commit mail. hope this helps, Doug > + &prompt.user; svn commit stable/9/share/man/man4 If you are in the directory this can be simplified to 'svn ci' hth, Doug -- I am only one, but I am one. A (somewhat) short answer, I'll get to the details tomorrow when I feel less tired. I just (tried) to follow the very generalized example in the section above, and since I found that example hard to follow I thought a more concrete example would be good. The instructions I wrote try to follow the generalized instructions. With that said, there is probably room for improvements, and I will look into your suggestions, but not tonight. Our (clusteradm@ / mirror-admin@) concern is only that there aren't = added new mirrors to the list. How the text is generated doesn't matter, = and if somebody want to improve / expand the text part of the section = that's also no problem at all (in fact, please do :-) ). As 9.1 isn't available in CVS I wanted to get the mirror list in sooner = rather than later, which is another reason I went with the simple = "embedded" table instead of generating the docbook. + &trans.a.culot; + +

+ Un example de rapport de modification + + +bde 2005-10-29 16:34:50 UTC + + FreeBSD src repository + + Modified files: + lib/msun/src e_rem_pio2f.c + Log: + Use double precision to simplify and optimize arg reduction for small + and medium size args too: instead of conditionally subtracting a float + 17+24, 17+17+24 or 17+17+17+24 bit approximation to pi/2, always + subtract a double 33+53 bit one. The float version is now closer to + the double version than to old versions of itself — it uses the same + 33+53 bit approximation as the simplest cases in the double version, + and where the float version had to switch to the slow general case at + |x| == 2^7*pi/2, it now switches at |x| == 2^19*pi/2 the same as the + double version. + + This speeds up arg reduction by a factor of 2 for |x| between 3*pi/4 and + 2^7*pi/4, and by a factor of 7 for |x| between 2^7*pi/4 and 2^19*pi/4. + + Revision Changes Path + 1.14 +22 -97 src/lib/msun/src/e_rem_pio2f.c + +
