I'm facing the problem that video stops working in Sk calls between skype-2.1.0.81_1,1 (from the actual ports) and Windows Skype versions of 6.x; the call establishes fine, audio is fine but the video is dropped/rejected; this is not a local problem because video works fine between skype-2.1.0.81_1,1 and skype-2.1.0.81_1,1; it looks more that there are changes in the protocol or codecs or whatever; for this a working 4.x (congratulations!!!) could be a step to get it working again; > Maybe it is a good idea to create a new net-im/skype4 instead of pushing > everybody to 4.X ? net-im/skype4 would be really nice matthias -- Sent from my FreeBSD netbook Matthias Apitz, , http://www.unixarea.de/ f: +49-170-4527211 UNIX since V7 on PDP-11, UNIX on mainframe since ESER 1055 (IBM /370) UNIX on x86 since SVR4.2 UnixWare 2.1.2, FreeBSD since 2.2.5 From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Jun 13 20:41:19 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5BA6E644 for ; Thu, 13 Jun 2013 20:41:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from artyom.mirgorodsky@gmail.com) Received: from mail-ea0-x230.google.com (mail-ea0-x230.google.com [IPv6:2a00:1450:4013:c01::230]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C59A911C5 for ; Thu, 13 Jun 2013 20:41:18 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-ea0-f176.google.com with SMTP id z15so4936802ead.21 for ; Thu, 13 Jun 2013 13:41:17 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=from:to:cc:subject:date:message-id:user-agent:in-reply-to :references:mime-version:content-type:content-transfer-encoding; bh=y55dUoqijigQyq05uu+fVB4GuOXSenDxDVKTXNT3jRE=; b=pyNiq3I8mFNrcz+a87nZB6r6eW55vNIIiTvt2zVtNW41aZjlE6MPb+AFVU2C0MPrku kfRCTDYo2Ok9dKN3Ng1l4osDAEaoe1U3te64ADTCTU3QE6qfAEl/X2QOGNVFEROQ/uh4 LWd0h7KviQnA//JmiKeYpVDeNoSCyoHPfxmJ2ef15qFdWuLHef1EbcHKZDL0xypDvHwA zif8q6rcNpM9MrJ86e10jx7D128Gx1oD1wTF0QnX2Swe2DGLRHiYbYzeQ6Nn5ajjx6De 1eLJ1TthXHIvkQtr3LgaMbLhLqia0+Ip3mBkTKKNydRZkTCroCzU5FZAkYgUqm6gfYVh iIlg== X-Received: by 10.14.148.136 with SMTP id v8mr3080786eej.128.1371156077839; Thu, 13 Jun 2013 13:41:17 -0700 (PDT) Received: from notebook.alkar.net (nat1.id-telecom.net. Hi Artyom, Some of the above shared libs: /compat/linux/lib/ld-linux.so.2 /compat/linux/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 /compat/linux/lib/libdl.so.2 /compat/linux/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.6 /compat/linux/lib/libpthread.so.0 /compat/linux/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 have been installed by linux-f10 ports already; would it be an option to put all the above libs into /compat/linux/lib-c6 /compat/linux/usr/lib-c6 and set LD_LIBRARY_PATH for Sk4 accordingly? This way all this would not interfere with linux-f10, flash and friends... matthias -- Sent from my FreeBSD netbook Matthias Apitz, , http://www.unixarea.de/ f: +49-170-4527211 UNIX since V7 on PDP-11, UNIX on mainframe since ESER 1055 (IBM /370) UNIX on x86 since SVR4.2 UnixWare 2.1.2, FreeBSD since 2.2.5 From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Jun 15 03:58:57 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@smarthost.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 60970A83; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:57 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bryanv@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206c::16:87]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3C4251734; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:57 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7) with ESMTP id r5F3wvop066214; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:57 GMT (envelope-from bryanv@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from bryanv@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7/Submit) id r5F3wur1066213; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:56 GMT (envelope-from bryanv) Date: Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:56 GMT Message-Id: <201306150358.r5F3wur1066213@freefall.freebsd.org> To: jsteckli@os.inf.tu-dresden.de, bryanv@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.org From: bryanv@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: kern/178955: [virtio] virtio network (if_vtnet) interacts badly with qemu 1.5.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 15 Jun 2013 03:58:57 -0000 Synopsis: [virtio] virtio network (if_vtnet) interacts badly with qemu 1.5.0 State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: bryanv State-Changed-When: Sat Jun 15 03:58:56 UTC 2013 State-Changed-Why: Fixed in HEAD r251769 http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=178955 From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Jun 15 04:00:01 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@smarthost.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7C18BAC8 for ; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206c::16:87]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6F9831740 for ; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7) with ESMTP id r5F401IS066370 for ; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 GMT (envelope-from gnats@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7/Submit) id r5F401uI066368; Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 GMT (envelope-from gnats) Date: Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 GMT Message-Id: <201306150400.r5F401uI066368@freefall.freebsd.org> To: freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.org Cc: From: dfilter@FreeBSD.ORG (dfilter service) Subject: Re: kern/178955: commit references a PR X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list Reply-To: dfilter service List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 15 Jun 2013 04:00:01 -0000 The following reply was made to PR kern/178955; it has been noted by GNATS.
