I expect to run 9.1-RELEASE/amd64 on it. It looks like I'll have to use WITH_NEW_XORG and WITH_KMS as it has HD3000 graphics. The specs say that the wireless interface is "Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250 (Kilmer Peak) 2x2 AGN". It looks like it should be supported by the iwn(4) driver. Can anyone confirm this? Are there any other details I should be worried about? -- Christian Laursen From owner-freebsd-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Jan 17 18:38:57 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-mobile@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 73E4C354 for ; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 18:38:57 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from lists@eitanadler.com) Received: from mail-lb0-f170.google.com (mail-lb0-f170.google.com [209.85.217.170]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id F1A9E91F for ; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 18:38:56 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-lb0-f170.google.com with SMTP id j14so2139813lbo.29 for ; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 10:38:50 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=eitanadler.com; s=0xdeadbeef; h=x-received:mime-version:in-reply-to:references:from:date:message-id :subject:to:cc:content-type:content-transfer-encoding; bh=LtF1FFhgSbO4ZaVHz6tpGsnpqxbclQfdi/yI2kI3QTo=; b=X02IUpoDVETI9dEJ8TWbS0G774eEG9F7hkprmU9BPnyv0oQJ5XduOxjhSHXV8JXNTi 9Z8zaa527KVg/+0u78f9SgosOud52LjqsoroOIOgr4Li/v7yInDrErIR3g6ClJfZbZqB dXNbmNx/n/pph8HxqScFaqgWqLPcRQnjfg5fQ= X-Google-DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=google.com; s=20120113; h=x-received:mime-version:in-reply-to:references:from:date:message-id :subject:to:cc:content-type:content-transfer-encoding :x-gm-message-state; bh=LtF1FFhgSbO4ZaVHz6tpGsnpqxbclQfdi/yI2kI3QTo=; b=O6oZdZ9Sq3OqrSvL9v2Wnv/1nKBS/YTtelz2WzWKuK3dFt+lgqrV68kXm+6ylm6bDD PbxWKqyMAu30ejTgOaQuZ5FHS209a84l9YZSGS4hsvt8XSWxodIEmlFnab5IW8LqevXo 5LgPI/nUJPTMSuC9pJ73Cwl7N4/OC/tnXOTdG2bceeE4VusaaqwgnfiC2F3a2lz8CLep pQKHiB4IvdZ1LQLtCzJui12iX62U4tbUefJpjaouoGPTh0ti/63r/Sye3pj1x3/863KF 6ZySsQJ+byJeakb45SUUxvFf0/ElU+VBykyw46z+Yx32vCTd7746yvzmWXSZF7Qhi9ZS UyAg== X-Received: by 10.112.23.2 with SMTP id i2mr2702935lbf.24.1358447930121; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 10:38:50 -0800 (PST) MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.112.30.131 with HTTP; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 10:38:19 -0800 (PST) In-Reply-To: <50F7F9FF.2000805@borderworlds.dk> References: <50F7F9FF.2000805@borderworlds.dk> From: Eitan Adler Date: Thu, 17 Jan 2013 13:38:19 -0500 Message-ID: Subject: Re: Experiences with Lenovo Thinkpad X230?
