--huq684BweRXVnRxX Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I've been tracking down the cause of some test failures on my RPi (running armv6hf head r283107) and found that denormalised numbers are flushed to zero. This appears deliberate (r263913 initialised the fpscr so denormalised numbers are flushed to zero) but isn't what is expected from IEEE FP arithmetic. The commit doesn't include any explanation for setting this (mis)behaviour. Can someone explain why Arm defaults to flush-to-zero? --=20 Peter Jeremy --huq684BweRXVnRxX Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJVc5OiXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXRFRUIyOTg2QzMwNjcxRTc0RTY1QzIyN0Ux NkE1OTdBMEU0QTIwQjM0AAoJEBall6Dkogs0o4wP/0LNX0cSiQQkKuK3KhOT/ioT BKGkOU58ytSNgP8HPqj4QO5zY260Gs01A/5MdTv0UD9jr6VJe87ZrJ0JrP//wl2l WD0npiYUu4VTztXGDCGLnSNCjDuqyEjTZ7KSonzl36y0gLwU6DeIJp7ePyatquVm +WqLa7tVOTYE1TlJtAO5WPo9OlIcbFnGS4sXorM9+pR67UuwtISJ5r0fESZjHiy6 M5I27dkRHc+AxxrSLk/BrhiWRxK9Hxvdf5XP7oeYfBUXbcTMZfBwP4GYNzgLzIh3 4q0n+EYuiIgPWPyFe/IsBCqDqZprDwajmgzGckIwSPyRej0gxBYnBaNnqxGiLRz5 yBjQl65ABSzmDXAIZMNJEwwOu/FRKB0L8qKvpoqMg6+2QPXvCDq9iLhYRhwtnWY+ NC+LrYr60WTTLuGy8qw+6cunj9zHxNJwczftkR2ORMP7dFWxrDr/rQ1lxGby7I/G zjmzIpBA4YZBd5eF4r89C5pxwxd+n0xnG3t2TJgCYPt0uvqdZ1/ZpT80GB0tXuFl /i8Sn5Rt0gnmiZKqQq/s/s1aBMByWHaUKW4W/MFOHibsdsQsNvQcHbJtWSyIk3Fw QlL5eoNJc4wzKa+A0LzrTO+l8Q20dLziWLzgMXTT2+CepJJrKnMQ/wZuWmpQCzze VoxndudN7S7o4GBtWmfF =nr7F -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --huq684BweRXVnRxX--
