Hi,

I have a question:

I have a server with

- 2 Xeon E5-2609,
- 4 cores each
- 4 threads per core

On OS level, Linux and FreeBSD see 8 processors.

VirtualBox offers 16 CPUs as the maximal number for a VM.

I expected 32. How does this work?

Regards
Peter
