This seems to be a persistent issue on all versions from 51.0.2704.84= to 54.0.2840.90. At least one other person has reproduced. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to build with debug information, so I can't give a backtrace. If anyone can give me a hand with extracting better debug information, I'd be glad to take some time to work on it.
