Yes, but it's also true that some rough edges are ok for tier 2. The existing language for tier 3 implies that the source isn't even checked into the tree, outside of toolchain bits and seems intended for new architectures during their incubation period. MIPS is well beyond that stage. I'm happy to propose this to core@, but I wanted to see what the community thought first. I'll wait a few more days, but if there isn't any other feedback I'll move forward. -- John Baldwin From owner-freebsd-mips@freebsd.org Wed Oct 11 13:23:14 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-mips@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A7703E2C2BC for ; Wed, 11 Oct 2017 13:23:14 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from yamori813@yahoo.co.jp) Received: from nh601-vm8.bullet.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp (nh601-vm8.bullet.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp [182.22.90.17]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with SMTP id 2850767DE4 for ; Wed, 11 Oct 2017 13:23:13 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from yamori813@yahoo.co.jp) Received: from [182.22.66.105] by nh601.bullet.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp with NNFMP; 11 Oct 2017 13:21:21 -0000 Received: from [182.22.91.132] by t603.bullet.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp with NNFMP; 11 Oct 2017 13:21:21 -0000 Received: from [127.0.0.1] by omp605.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp with NNFMP; 11 Oct 2017 13:21:21 -0000 X-Yahoo-Newman-Property: ymail-3 X-Yahoo-Newman-Id: 261418.67970.bm@omp605.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp Received: (qmail 74135 invoked by uid 60001); 11 Oct 2017 13:21:21 -0000 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yahoo.co.jp; s=yj20110701; t=1507728081; bh=C+bcSTZpgWZpT2oIlpU2ueqzN6hWUS7jS3KR6yd1GKU=; h=Message-ID:X-YMail-OSG:Received:X-Mailer:X-YMail-JAS:References:Date:From:Reply-To:Subject:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type:Content-Transfer-Encoding; b=CxxWJpz6P2GTxPz3k/Oyu2Hv1KeHuqaNNQluuUdUclLT2632+38SqxX6XjNheWIHopwegpbEs61Z9SUqXwwiBimbt4u+yEh6J9ATcG9E07n+dJmCUyGvSMM+L1iQ5gcyO85U7U83XWlpO6IgN057bcoD5Xuwcj0p5glmqzRTBCE= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=yj20110701; d=yahoo.co.jp; h=Message-ID:X-YMail-OSG:Received:X-Mailer:X-YMail-JAS:References:Date:From:Reply-To:Subject:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type:Content-Transfer-Encoding; b=EqHu7yIkuyDKf4+/wzLxmsz/3EDjasWcIWgsy8iuW8pHd5HULuco8fXad9NbdUJsutgRQAetzzIufDYZk+vaVVHKswnDJazwOGH+aSYpJtp1RVX0bxGFUmt2R49RiUK6TjwHDRJxuhuL0RLe28QZPXZ4s0jxNqEDBm7N/Tqgy/k=; Message-ID: <70567.66220.qm@web101717.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp> X-YMail-OSG: kGnBEUoVM1nuiy_HMn50.CAKMBmjAhIat4yZGvD0X6W1kTAj7qYubSmveZYgGSmfCHsv45nIssezmKAks3KQKNcqd6zA_xovgJ5489QL7vP6xBtvedvYxcrRYoTHYWk9nr7YMVXoWmFTPmEKCNc5ENoENIvMItJEl2L7hHIEj7zRGaLWVbhtz.vO5CMtmTiqT2dudCBdPkpga38vHy1yf2PMUp0FjH.CrLGq2peeM4UHM_GG2Vw0mlQ2.4Z4CnBGL0UPoE_XEX593WeG0j3wJPIUHuoxOWCJHjjEugztKaks5AuBtrI7Z1wQUJA_7KQByTf77VEqSjFalMUtweLtzXq5Gyf2wAYMIAMU.YQXKFcHwV1FgRR8ba_ZZ7bXBpgFx1uosq.OQZjoF8VWO.xZ8iv5KybBGuYQsaV4mpz07skm1rDFl05A8R9.9VDkIXmaGdrQwI9ofilbYSLrC0i22Vx.Bz4nQ.IIC3chNss8l8baJzLYo9OSCrzNXXAo_8M0iRWr7UShUM1nsV3CgprrEyaCCFbWKX2ReSaepGl3hXrG22o82ENQtbvI7Nz80Xu3HxYpqNTfEOr.OhOzVvEn21HSIUkdQMxIku_fbyuhFg-- Received: from [110.132.11.167] by web101717.mail.ssk.yahoo.co.jp via HTTP; Wed, 11 Oct 2017 22:21:20 JST X-Mailer: YahooMailWebService/0.8.111_74 X-YMail-JAS: q0twIrsVM1lk4K1Nv4bS2RSxo1x4pEHuu4_tBWx74dFKXI9tVVeTvwszjBW_Q5YR1uMcVVdMOUMp4NnMrGwBRo1FF81YRc8HmeqdGhaJSxsvjUpBzqnxSCTyRzAMQZUxWTwD References: Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2017 22:21:20 +0900 (JST) From: Mori Hiroki Reply-To: Mori Hiroki Subject: about IDT RC32334 support To: "freebsd-mips@freebsd.org" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-BeenThere: freebsd-mips@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.23 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to MIPS List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2017 13:23:14 -0000 Hi=0A=0AI make FDT and INTERNG away to mips/idt code.=0A=0ATarget is Netger= e WG602 v1.
