In no cases should a FreeBSD port/package call easy_install, pip or other respective setuptools/distutils functionality itself. What I would try instead is to remove (patch out) the unconditional install_requires=['argparse'] entry from setup.py, and test the application functionality without it, as import argparse should "just work" whether using the standard library or the package, and in FreeBSD's case for all supported Python versions, argparse is available built-in. ./koobs From owner-freebsd-python@freebsd.org Sun Apr 30 20:42:36 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-python@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 94FD4D575AD for ; Sun, 30 Apr 2017 20:42:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 7EFAB7D7 for ; Sun, 30 Apr 2017 20:42:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id v3UKgZFe033872 for ; Sun, 30 Apr 2017 20:42:36 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-python@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 217372] net/py-pypcap: Unbreak Date: Sun, 30 Apr 2017 20:42:35 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: CC X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Ports & Packages X-Bugzilla-Component: Individual Port(s) X-Bugzilla-Version: Latest X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: ler@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: ler@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: maintainer-feedback? This change inevitably leads to different rendering results, and you might change port's options to adapt it to your taste (or use the new "FREETYPE_PROPERTIES" environment variable). The environment variable "FREETYPE_PROPERTIES" can be used to control the driver properties. Example: FREETYPE_PROPERTIES=truetype:interpreter-version=35 \ cff:no-stem-darkening=1 \ autofitter:warping=1 This allows to select, say, the subpixel hinting mode at runtime for a given application. The controllable properties are listed in the section "Controlling FreeType Modules" in the reference's table of contents (/usr/local/share/doc/freetype2/reference/ft2-toc.html, if documentation was installed). ===> pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 depends on shared library: libtk86.so - found (/usr/local/lib/libtk86.so) ===> Returning to build of pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 ===> pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 depends on shared library: libtcl86.so - found (/usr/local/lib/libtcl86.so) =========================================================================== =================================================== ===> Configuring for pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 =========================================================================== =================================================== ===> Building for pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 cp -f /usr/local/tkinter-5.7/lib_pypy/_tkinter/tklib_build.py /wrkdirs/usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pypy-tkinter/work/tkinter.py cp: /usr/local/tkinter-5.7/lib_pypy/_tkinter/tklib_build.py: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop. make: stopped in /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pypy-tkinter From owner-freebsd-python@freebsd.org Wed May 3 15:14:10 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-python@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4FA36D5B11A for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3D12BAE5 for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 3C576D5B117; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: python@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3C0A6D5B115 for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.ysv.freebsd.org (portscout.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:6]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 2F530AE3 for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.ysv.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.123]) by portscout.ysv.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id v43FEAO3081592 for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from portscout@localhost) by portscout.ysv.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id v43FEAY8081581; Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Message-Id: <201705031514.v43FEAY8081581@portscout.ysv.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: portscout.ysv.freebsd.org: portscout set sender to portscout@FreeBSD.org using -f Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Content-Type: text/plain MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Wed, 3 May 2017 15:14:10 +0000 From: portscout@FreeBSD.org To: python@freebsd.org Subject: FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date X-Mailer: portscout/0.8.1 X-BeenThere: freebsd-python@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.23 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD-specific Python issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 03 May 2017 15:14:10 -0000 Dear port maintainer, The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your ports appears to be out of date. ===> pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 depends on shared library: libtk86.so - found (/usr/local/lib/libtk86.so) ===> Returning to build of pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 ===> pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 depends on shared library: libtcl86.so - found (/usr/local/lib/libtcl86.so) =========================================================================== =================================================== ===> Configuring for pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 =========================================================================== =================================================== ===> Building for pypy-tkinter-5.7.1 cp -f /usr/local/tkinter-5.7/lib_pypy/_tkinter/tklib_build.py /wrkdirs/usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pypy-tkinter/work/tkinter.py cp: /usr/local/tkinter-5.7/lib_pypy/_tkinter/tklib_build.py: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop. make: stopped in /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pypy-tkinter From owner-freebsd-python@freebsd.org Wed May 3 16:57:11 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-python@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 679CDD5C830 for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 56C2B21C for ; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 52BA5D5C82E; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:11 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: python@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 52178D5C82C; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org (beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:6080::16:ee]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 13B6021A; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id v43GvAUm042915; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:10 GMT (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from root@localhost) by beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id v43GvAhd042883; Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:10 GMT (envelope-from pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org) Date: Wed, 3 May 2017 16:57:10 GMT From: pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org Message-Id: <201705031657.v43GvAhd042883@beefy11.nyi.freebsd.org> To: python@FreeBSD.org Subject: [package - head-i386-default][databases/pypy-sqlite3] Failed for pypy-sqlite3-5.7.1 in build Cc: pkg-fallout@FreeBSD.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-python@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.23 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD-specific Python issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 03 May 2017 16:57:11 -0000 You are receiving this mail as a port that you maintain is failing to build on the FreeBSD package build server.
