I have periodically disconnections from router (/var/log/messages have not = any records in that moments), packets not transmitted (I try to ping router) and after some timeout (about 60 seconds) network start works but latency >1000= ms and packet dropping 10-20%. If I replug dongle, some time all works good un= til next turn. My PC places not far from WiFi router, and all other users have not problems with WiFi. I have that problem with various APs and that dongle in Win-PC works without problem. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D loader.conf =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=20 if_rtwn_load=3D"YES" if_rtwn_usb_load=3D"YES" if_rtwn_pci_load=3D"YES" legal.realtek.license_ack=3D1 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D /etc/rc.conf =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D wlans_rtwn0=3D"wlan0" ifconfig_wlan0=3D"WPA inet 192.168.0.100/24" =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D ifconfig wlan0 list ap =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D UK 4e:5d:4e:4b:c8:f8 1 54M -75:-95 100 EP HTCAP RSN = WME BSSLOAD =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D /var/log/messages periodical messages related to rtwn Apr 10 13:20:24 G-BSD kernel: rtwn0: rtwn_rxeof: totlen (1606) > len (1280)! For this, I'm testing two wifi adapters: rtwn0: MAC/BB RTL8188CUS, RF 6052 1T1R run0: MAC/BBP RT5390 (rev 0x0502), RF RT5370 (MIMO 1T1R), address e8:4e:06:3c:fd:5d Both adapters works fine at low bit rate (300 Kbps), but when I use a high bi rate, for example 3 Mbps the adapter RTL8188CUS hangs up with the message below: ========================================================================================================================== rtwn0: at uhub2, port 3, addr 4 (disconnected) rtwn0: device timeout Network is down [ota@beaglebone ~/workspace/SOFTWARE_Espelho/Capture]$ rtwn0: r92c_handle_c2h_task: C2H report 15 (len 15) was not handled Apr 12 10:58:06 beaglebone openvpn[759]: write UDP: Network is down (code=50) Apr 12 10:58:10 beaglebone wpa_supplicant[1436]: ioctl[SIOCS80211, op=20, val=0, arg_len=7]: Can't assign requested address rtwn0: ieee80211_crypto_encap returns NULL. rtwn0: ieee80211_crypto_encap returns NULL.
