As pf does NAT first and filtering after NAT, I have a problem doing the following: 1. All 192.168.0.0/16 addresses should be translated to the real IP of the external interface. 2. A subset of the 192.168.0.0/16, for example 192.168.3.0/24, should have access only to a limited list of addresses in the Internet, for example 8.8.8.8 only. However, because the "nat" rule has already done its job before filtering, I cannot "block on $ext_if from 192.168.3.0/24 to any" because the source has already been translated. In ipfw I can "deny ip from 192.168.3.0/24 to not 8.8.8.8" before it even gets into the nat rule, but what do I do with pf? --=20 Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ --0F1p//8PRICkK4MW Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJcoYbAAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY0ZBQH/1TKj16YOhkbVocShcg6XRtJ D9P15cZDJCASjh4ERvhHpY1CgrrpCsAEutI+FTXSJDJaORiLnuqLu+PE0HQqqTWv LZ0YWNGr+pfrm5+n8GOLGwMUtnni2q2W0JP59HFaPzhCRLmzkWFVx8FVJcBAcIpE eSn+SS9Gv1ttQfARSHaUErfYxjg++aY5JjgsxzNj5OTJ/5GuX1oDMjG6OWWVwSSl UVPcocv9U4fZlAkoyeSEJms+YsdEsVC37kVVItNag2TOiY1Yo22T+ubXS7BW4iVB x5rtbbLsjS40elBUJDkNdCjfDM2ruw0+2dPfZQWmL/FjXU5nEUq4JGg90bSk/q8= =gl4h -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --0F1p//8PRICkK4MW-- From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Mon Apr 1 13:33:09 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 139DD15636C1 for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:09 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A2A4C6F563 for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 5FF2615636C0; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:08 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4E43515636BF for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id E1A016F560 for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:07 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4738316FBD for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:07 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id x31DX73L017499 for ; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:07 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id x31DX7Gx017498 for net@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 1 Apr 2019 13:33:07 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: net@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 236819] [tcpdump] capsicum-related changes broke reading IPsec ESP decryption keys from a file Date: Mon, 01 Apr 2019 13:33:07 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: bin X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.2-STABLE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: emaste@freebsd.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: net@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-net@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.29 Precedence: list List-Id: Networking and TCP/IP with FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 01 Apr 2019 13:33:09 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D236819 --- Comment #1 from Ed Maste --- Does it work in stable/12? It is not very good though that packets from 192.168.3.0/24 to not will get into the Internet with the untranslated private src address. I guess I need to complete the configuration by a rule something like block out on $(ext_if) from 192.168.3.0/24 to any Is that right? Or probably add a rule to block all trafic from 192.168.0.0/16 out via $ext= _if. --=20 Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ --+QahgC5+KEYLbs62 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJcowlSAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY0a1QH/3ot3lM2cpKTnucgdMwXWRAX ccG4BNiUJ0DjHhWPeYnCXK2i2PBqluss2VOREykMvO30jcPZZoMLNGabV39U1h6V kpgfIGnW8XDRW6iQFmvqrbN0cYMKwxAkKXk4K7jlzEIKJEakHUXmbzRpiTH5088C K5NgOqLc4PG5yjVvvhK4UNnpg0CCaDnPttbg53U+Zl54mKLBbi0aFZc3AK4CyDXD kwQy229XsdKlKZ9R5gpDqGTAZ+/oEZb61Y/PzjJi8WAcudm+BNOYuC37VyEFPe2f pGJ/wjLodn0WXDZfhUQ+/81wH7sVHljC5MvbJJe7GSoowCwcX3gWi2Rzyhru0rM= =+QY2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --+QahgC5+KEYLbs62-- From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Tue Apr 2 13:45:27 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 05E9615674F6 for ; Tue, 2 Apr 2019 13:45:27 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from artem@viklenko.net) Received: from alf.viklenko.net (alf.viklenko.net [IPv6:2001:470:71:d72::61]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "*.viklenko.net", Issuer "Art&Co. For example if in ps/top there is a busy thread such as "if_io_tqg_0" is it possible to get a mapping between thread name and interface rx / tx queue names (e.g., dev.igb.0.txq). Thank you. -Nick From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Thu Apr 4 02:08:02 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3B281155D42E for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:02 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C8B157750D for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:01 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 81E2B155D42D; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:01 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6F952155D42C for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:01 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 079247750A for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:01 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4924817B93 for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:00 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id x34280Bm041960 for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:00 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id x34280nt041959 for net@FreeBSD.org; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 02:08:00 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: net@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 236983] bnxt(4) VLAN not operational unless explicit "ifconfig promisc" is used on the physical IF Date: Thu, 04 Apr 2019 02:07:59 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.2-STABLE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: needs-qa X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: shurd@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: Open X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: Normal X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: net@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: mfc-stable11? mfc-stable12? This patch should pass all tagged and untagged traffic to = the stack when -vlanhwfilter is in effect. This should fix the bug when only -vlanhwfilter is set rather than requiring promisc. Actual HW vlan filtering is still broken. This patch is against CURRENT, but should apply cleanly. If this works, I'm inclined to disable the vlanhwfilter capability until it's fixed for all firmware revisions. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Thu Apr 4 21:02:13 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 053F3155B16E for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:13 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8E7B58CD9E for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:12 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 4F26D155B16D; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:12 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3D8FF155B16C for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:12 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id BB5098CD98 for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 0AD931E38 for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id x34L2AL9067135 for ; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:10 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id x34L2AmU067118 for net@FreeBSD.org; Thu, 4 Apr 2019 21:02:10 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: net@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 236983] bnxt(4) VLAN not operational unless explicit "ifconfig promisc" is used on the physical IF Date: Thu, 04 Apr 2019 21:02:10 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.2-STABLE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: needs-qa X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: shurd@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: Open X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: Normal X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: net@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: mfc-stable11? mfc-stable12?
