I actually had the same problem and noticed some error messages in /var/log/messages.log. Roy has provided a patch for the dhcpcd source in attachments, this fixed it for me. It has already been committed to master and should be fixed in the new dhcpcd-9.1.1 release. > Could you look into these issues? > > Thanks! > -- > Douglas William Thrift > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list > https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" ------=_NextPart_000_0014_01D63CB7.9966C820 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="dhcpcd-buf.diff" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dhcpcd-buf.diff" diff --git a/src/privsep.c b/src/privsep.c index ce4f0565..ce84ff80 100644 --- a/src/privsep.c +++ b/src/privsep.c @@ -131,6 +131,20 @@ ps_dropprivs(struct dhcpcd_ctx *ctx) return 0; } +static int +ps_setbuf(int fd) +{ + socklen_t len = (socklen_t)sizeof(struct ps_msg); + + if (setsockopt(fd, SOL_SOCKET, SO_RCVBUF, &len, sizeof(len)) == -1 || + setsockopt(fd, SOL_SOCKET, SO_SNDBUF, &len, sizeof(len)) == -1) + { + logerr(__func__); + return -1; + } + return 0; +} + pid_t ps_dostart(struct dhcpcd_ctx *ctx, pid_t *priv_pid, int *priv_fd, @@ -160,6 +174,7 @@ ps_dostart(struct dhcpcd_ctx *ctx, case 0: *priv_fd = fd[1]; close(fd[0]); + ps_setbuf(*priv_fd); break; default: *priv_pid = pid; @@ -181,6 +196,7 @@ ps_dostart(struct dhcpcd_ctx *ctx, logerr("%s: eloop_event_add", __func__); return -1; } + ps_setbuf(*priv_fd); return pid; } ------=_NextPart_000_0014_01D63CB7.9966C820-- From owner-freebsd-ports@freebsd.org Sun Jun 7 11:18:04 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-ports@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5AA8A34F973 for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (mailman.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:13]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 49fv4r1nyzz4TjL for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 3D92934FA3C; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: ports@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3D59234FD0B for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 49fv4r0xDfz4Tlx for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (portscout.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:21]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 1BA3012174 for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.nyi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.10]) by portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 057BI39B077269 for ; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:03 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from portscout@localhost) by portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 057BI3Qo077268; Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:03 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Message-Id: <202006071118.057BI3Qo077268@portscout.nyi.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: portscout.nyi.freebsd.org: portscout set sender to portscout@FreeBSD.org using -f Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Content-Type: text/plain MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Sun, 7 Jun 2020 11:18:03 +0000 From: portscout@FreeBSD.org To: ports@freebsd.org Subject: FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date X-Mailer: portscout/0.8.1 X-BeenThere: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.33 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting software to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 07 Jun 2020 11:18:04 -0000 Dear port maintainer, The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your ports appears to be out of date. As FreeBSD 11 only has OpenSSL 1.0 in base, that means that there won't be any binary packages for net/qt5-network and all ports depending on it once Qt5-5.15 lands in the ports tree. If you require qt5-network, you have two possible solutions 1) Upgrade to FreeBSD >=12 2) Build your own packages and switch to use OpenSSL from ports (for all your ports). (https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=246829) I'm not a committer, and also don't have any ability to change the state of the bug other than commenting on it, but this *feels* like pilot error to me. As this is a fairly quiet port (only two open issues right now), what is the correct way to resolve this? (I.e. should I have access to do more in the bugzilla?) I'd also like to take over maintainership for a few other ports with a low thrash rate (just to keep them from going abandoned), so getting better at this workflow is useful to me. I'm adjusted openfire port for new compiler. And now I tested last 4.5.2 version with openjdk 8 and 11 versions. Also I tested update from previous version to last. For test clean installation update was successfully with embedded and external database, but for my production server I was needed to remove all files from /usr/local/share/java/openfire and configure it again. All my settings store in external database and it was not complicated, but for some users can be a problem. It is my first experience here. What must be my next steps to place correctly this update to ports tree? Thanx in advance. And now it almost here. But before land it to the ports, we want to inform community about some i= mportant changes to build options. At first, GTK3 option is not more set by default and there are the reason= s: a) our gtk30 port and all needed gnome dependencies are dramatically outd= ated b) LibreOffice64=E2=80=99s gtk3 visual content library is broken =E2=80=94= missed critical buttons, dropdown menus, scrollbars c) previously uses gtk2 vcl is dropped upstream since LibreOffice 6.4.0 i= s branched Second, we decided to make QT5 VCL option is set by default to provide co= mfy visual style for every users. One small note =E2=80=94 since upcoming= Qt5-5.15 will drop binary support for =46reeBSD 11.x due to outdated Ope= nSSL 1.0 in base, here is not reason to enable QT5 option on =46reeBSD <1= 2+ by default. Release will be landed to the ports at this weekend.
